About
Nurturing today’s aviation talents with built-in values for tomorrow's economy
The name ‘Aviationia’ is derived from the words Aviation, Industry and Academia, as it inherits the acadustry® gene from AeroNAD Group. It is the Education & Training wing of the Group, and is committed to bring forward aviation-driven executive education, technical training, and pilot studies while staying relevant to the industry thereby contributing towards a better aviation ecosystem. Nestled in Mauritius, Aviationia addresses the existing needs of human capital development for the aviation industry from Africa to Asia across the Indian Ocean through stand-alone certified Masterclasses and Microclasses, EASA-approved training, and accredited professional short-courses. The institution firmly believes that a 360° accord is required amongst aviation stakeholders to realise the full potential of the industry.
Aviationia is determined to transform potential through a learning system which is founded upon the study of new technologies, managerial competencies development, and the ability to dive into disruptive innovation. The approach employed is an inventive model, namely acadustry®, which embodies the academia and industry effectively thereby harnessing their respective capabilities. Driven by conviction that a sustainable professional development system needs to be flexible and to adapt to the societal needs, our model emphasises strong connections with relevant authorities, professional bodies and non-profit organisations. This synergistic and dynamic relationship adds value to our integrated application–oriented deliveries, which provides a fertile ground to produce holistic professionals for endowing prospects.
In parallel, Integrity, Morality and Ethics and contemporary topics are often instilled to address importance of sustainability of the society. The emotional intelligence concept is integrated during formation to nurture self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy and social skills, and finally self-development programmes including technopreneurship workshops are encouraged to confront the new set of realities subjected updated standards and norms, as innovation and creativity are crucial to the global competitive arena. At Aviationia, we transform potential into human excellence, for aviation.
